we can change that.
Queensland's Families are being hit hard by cost-of-living pressures and the housing crisis. For families in regional Queensland those pressures stack up, with higher costs, greater distances and less access to essential services.
Our research and consultation with community services show that Queensland’s children will thrive when our government is an enabler – integrating the efforts of families, communities and services to ensure all kids have access to health, education and housing.
The time for change is now
For the first time, Queensland has a Families Minister in Cabinet. With community services across Queensland ready to lead with solutions, there is a real chance to raise the standards for children and families in need.
Investing in children and families is the best choice we can make to change lives today and secure Queensland’s future.
